Emerson College Popular Fiction Writing and Publishing MFA
Emerson College’s Popular Fiction Writing and Publishing MFA program is a flexible, online graduate program that allows you to work on your writing from anywhere in the world, with online workshops, literature seminars, and publishing courses that fit your schedule. You will become a better writer, through exploring the context and craft techniques of your genres, including crime, fantasy, horror, romance, science fiction, young adult, and more. The program will support you as you develop your writing skills, focus on creating plot and character-driven stories, and craft a popular fiction novel with one-on-one support from your thesis advisor with the goal to submit to agents or self-publish. In addition, the program assists you in taking the first steps toward publishing. You will engage in in-depth reviews of how books are published and marketed with trade publishing professionals. This MFA program provides networking opportunities with renowned writers, publishers, and academics. The program is 100% online and asynchronous with full-time and part-time options to fit your schedule.
